I have tow pit bulls Tiger $ red nose/brindle and Angel Blue nose. Angel 2, I read once of the questions on your blog about a rash one the the pit bulls was having and it sounds just as the same situation as Angel has develop bumps on her skin. we went to the vet and he told me to use 50 mg of Benadryl but she got very hyper and I do not want to hurt her the bumps are not totally gone, but are not as big as before, they seem to come and go. Now I feed both dogs Eukanuba they had never eaten anything else except the time I change the food to the new brand of eukanuba Natural lamb and wild rice and then she started sneezing so I put them both back in the other food. I am going to tried to the Tea tree oil shampoo today as you suggested. but I wanted to know if you think Eukanuba is a good food for her? Also I am leaving for Thanksgiving and I am separating the children Tiger  is staying with a friend and Angel will stay with at her vet's since she has this rash. I don't know if you think I'm silly, but do you think she will think I abandon her?

Hi -  I would not send her to the vet for boarding...She is more apt to catch a virus at the vet/boarding facility.  Also, the excess stress of separating them, may cause her more troubles......
So, if you can get your friend to take care of both of them.  Tell the vet that your Angel's immune system is low and weak so you will have her stay in your friend's home.
