Question
Hi Marie,

My dog, Chyna, was diagnosed as having lick granulomas and medication does not help.  I was told that maybe she has a food allergy such as corn.  I have been feeding her Lassie Brand dog food for a couple of months but are there any supplements that I could give her that might help this?

Thank you,
Leigh

Answer
Dog food for allergy pets; Lick granuloma in canine;
LET me know how you do?  I would love a follow-up in about 30 days.
thanks.

Hi Leigh, I looked into the Lassie Brand and it is free of corn.
Just wanted to make sure.  There are better foods on the market for your Chyna girl.  You could go grain-free.  I sure do like Innova EVO or Wellenss Core ( Ocean) much better than the Lassie Brand.
If you decide to change, do a 50:50 mix of the Lassie and the new grain free food for 3 weeks and then Switch.

As for a good supplement, YES - MANY of my clients take the following:
NuVET Wafers - Just 1 per day long term....It's a treat in a Vitamin Wafer.  Helps to reduce swelling skin ( ALLERGY skin), softens a dry coat; lessens the shedding; helps to re-grow a nice full coat; and protects the legs, hips and joints, too.

Keep me posted - We can add a number of things to your program.

Another option is to get a 2nd opinion from a Vet.  I bet there are some Holistic Vets in your area.

Follow up with me after your Chyna has been on the NuVET program for at least 30 days.
NuVET will give her a 60 day guarantee...

HOPE this helps
