Chihuahua ate bubble gum!

I dont know if youre the correct person to ask...but my 3 pound chihuahua somehow ate a piece of bubble gum left over from a blow pop....its not sugar free, just regular gum. Can this hurt her?

Stephanie, yes it can hurt her. If the gum forms a blockage intestinally she can be in serious trouble, and this can take a few days to manifest. Please take her to your vet - you're right this isn't a nutritional question, but I'm glad you asked. Good luck - she *may* pass it without harm, but toy dogs are very sensitive and I'd have your vet take a look asap.
