bichon frise eating habits

Question
I have a 3 year old bichon, I have tried numerous dog foods at first he would throw up so i would try another kind. Finally I put him on Cheif Michaels and all was well. Until I think my husband started putting some of the left over meat we had for dinner or some of the gravy we might have had. I dont know what to do, he just eats a few bites and walks away. I tried putting a lttle cheese in his food but that did not work. I even bought the wet Cheif Michaels food and put a lttle in with the dry food. He seems to be healthy but I'm worried he's not eating enough. Any suggestions?

Answer
If your dog appears healthy and the vet agrees, he may not need more food. However, Purina does not make quality dog food.

Check out The Dog Food Project website for a list of ingredients to avoid and you will find at least a couple on that Chef Michaels label. http://www.dogfoodproject.com/index.php?page=badingredients

For ideas on foods with better ingredients, visit http://www.trianglepet.com/ You may find your dog likes the food better and you could even see improvements in coat, eyes, etc that you didn't even know were possible :)

I hope this helps!
