Question
Hi I have a 2 yr old Rhodesian Ridgeback / Lab Mix and I'm currently feed her Kibbles %26 Bits Homestyle with veggies in it and I feed her 2 times a day 3 to 4 cups of dry food and right now she weighs 64 lbs and the vet said it was a good weight for her and for her not to get over 70 lbs and we do keep her very active with walking and jogging and dog parks . I just switched her from Science Diet Adult brand dog food back to Kibbles %26 bits which she was on when I got her back in April so I was wondering what is a good brand of dog food for her what she is on now or do I need to switch it again ? I also do add half a can of wet food to her dry which she likes but should I be putting more in on the wet please let me know thanks.

Answer
Unless you see some problems, I would stick to the Kibbles and Bits.  There is is a lot of talk around the net about ingredients, but I think most of it is marketing hype from those promoting premium foods. The professionally managed service dogs schools are very successful feeding common brands that are full of so called ''bad'' ingredients.

No good reason to feed the wet, but it should hurt anything but your wallet.
