Question
I have a 2 months Corgi. His name is cupid. I bought it from one of the breeder in Hongkong. And he bought the same food (kibble) as he's feeding his pup. The brand is Nutri-Cal.

I went to the couple of vet and they don't know about the brand and didn't recommend. What can I do? Is the Nutri-Cal good?

Regards,
Risov

Answer
Dear Risov,
I have heard of Nutri-cal but only as a supplement for puppies. I don't know what they have in HOng Kong for dogs but if you could send me what kinds of dog foods, puppy foods are available I could help ou more. I do not recommend total kibble for any dog..it bloats them and makes them terribly thirsty. Ideally, I would like to see you home cook for your puppy but if you do this you must know what you are doing. YOu cannot simply give the dog people food and call that home cooking...NO WAY.

Please contact: DoniaSea@aol.com  for maximum dietary help. She was my mentor and she saved my Yorkie's life. She is a master with Nutrition but be forewarned: SHE DESPISES COMMERCIAL DOG FOODS OF ALL VARIETIES. IF you do write to her (SHE DOES NOT CHARGE BECAUSE SHE LOVES DOGS) tell her that I (Sue Behlmar who is the Mommy of Dixie, Henry and Buddy) sent you and LET HER HELP YOU WITH DIET FOR YOUR BRAND NEW PUP. Get this puppy started RIGHT and not with some awful commercial, dry, non nutritious food from a pet store.

Write again and give me more info if you like. WRITE TO DONIA TOO...you will never be sorry. Sue Behlmar aka DazzlinDaawg@aol.com
