hi! my aunt just found out her shih Tzu is pregnant and we just recently lost our dog. My aunt said when the puppies are ready to give away we could have one. If the dog just got pregnant, when do you think we will be able to recieve our puppy?

A shih tzu is pregnant from 58-65 days. A puppy should stay with its mother until it is at least 8 weeks old and not leave her any sooner.  Even if they are weaned and not nursing they are still learning from the mother, also they need vaccines, worming, and are in need of a vet check before going to their new homes.
