QuestionMy family and I just took in a 4 year old male Shih Tzus. According to the lady we got him from he was abused as a puppy but then was with the ladies grandmother up until she passed recently. He has a thyroid disease and is on meds for it. But he seems so temperamental. He doesn't bite he just seems really mad at everything. We also have a female lab who's 1 1/2 who was here first and he doesn't let her walk or play or anything. What are we supposed to do with him being so temperamental?
AnswerI wonder if this little shih tzu is in any pain? Next time he is in for blood work/ thyroid related/ ask the vet to check his hip and knees for any old injuries????
( old breaks that healed poorly).
This kid may have pain and that is why he is so unfriendly.
Good luck
