MY QUESTION IS HOW OFTEN WILL MY FEMALE GO IN HEAT?
ALSO SHE HAS BEEN KNOWN TO PUSH ONE PUP ASIDE AND NOT NURSE IT.

Hello. I am not an expert on breeding, as I usually get my dogs from the shelter, and all of mine are neutered immediately so as to lessen the excess population of unwanted animals. I believe the female can go into heat every 3-6 months. Also, many times, the mother will push aside the runt of the litter. It seems to be an innate action - to concentrate on the pups that have the best chance of making it. If you have this problem, you may need to suppliment the runt's diet with some formula (your vet should have it or know where to get it).
