Question
HI I BOUGHT TWO MALE SIBERIAN HUSKIES AND NOW THEY ARE 4 1/2 MONTHS. THEY HAVE BEEN A PAIN IN THE BUTT. THEY WON'T COME IF YOU CALL THEM. AND NOW IF ONE OF MY KIDS ARE GIVING ONE OF THEM ATTENTION, THE OTHER ONE WILL GET JEALOUS AND START FIGHTING. I HAVE TWO OTHER MALES AND THEY PLAY FIGHT BUT THE FIGHTS THE HUSKIES DO ARE LIKE DEATH MATCHES. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO BECAUSE I DON'T WANT MY CHILDREN TO GET HURT. WILL I HAVE TO GIVE ONE AWAY? THEY AREN'T NEUTERED, WILL THAT HELP IF I NEUTER THEM?

Answer
It is not surprising that recall is difficult - they are nomadic dogs with a very independent mindset.  At 4 1/2 months, definitely get them fixed and begin training them every day.  The fixing should help with the agression. ALthough, keep in mind that Siberians are well known for play fighting EXTREMELY hard.  It's tough sometimes to tell the difference, but I wouldn't be surprised if some the skrimishes are simply good fun for the dogs, and others (being unaltered males) are indeed fights.  Get them fixed and start a training program immediately.

Hope that helps some and feel free to write back with additional questions or concerns.
