Question
QUESTION: whats the difference between english and british bull dogs
ANSWER: AKC Bulldogs in this country were originally registered as English Bulldogs. The "English" was dropped some time ago. In Europe they are referred to as British Bulldogs, but they are still the same dog.

Someone is trying to market some type of crossbred as a British Bulldog in this country but it's a hoax. If they aren't AKC registered, they aren't English Bulldogs or British Bulldogs.

QUESTION: english bulldogs are they known to be bad at chewing when they are pupies are no most dogs are bad for chewing when they are young but im really after a dog that is relaxed and not to hyper as i have kids

Answer
All puppies will chew, bite and growl until someone teaches them proper, acceptable behavior. Bulldogs are no different. Depending upon the ages of your children, a Bulldog may or may not be a good choice. Bulldog puppies are fragile believe it or not and cannot be picked up and dropped by small children. If your kids are over age 6 this is a good choice for you but you still need to supervise them with a puppy until the puppy is too big to pick up.
