QUESTION:  i have a beautiful brown and white Boston Terrier female. I think she might have a hearing problem, do you have any tricks i could try to test her without having to take her to the vet?

ANSWER: Hi- I have cared for many dogs that are born deaf... not too common but I have bumped into them during my travels.

I would have a vet check her out. Sometimes allergies can cause pressure in the ear drug and you will get signs of deafness. Also, an overgrowth of yeast can cause hearing problems...

Hi - She can start between 8-12 months....depends --  We have some wonderful breeding experts --- on this site : they answer many questions about this subject.

Her vaginal area will start to swell a bit.  The blood spots will start about 1 week after the swelling starts...
