I have two wonderful loving kids (Boston Terriers), a 2 year old female Boston terrier (Molly), and an 11 month old male Boston terrier (Mojo). Molly is only 11 lbs., and Mojo is double her size, weighing in at 22 lbs. Molly is in heat, and Mojo got her the other night. Would it be possible for her to get pregnant by him, because Mojo was born with only 1 testicle? Our vet told us it's NOT possible for Mojo to get Molly pregnant since he only has 1 testicle, but I've heard it is still possible. I was also wondering if Molly is pregnant, should I go ahead and schedule a c-section since she's so tiny, and only weighs 11 lbs.? Thank you so much!

Marie's Clients.... th Hi Jill - yes, Mojo can father some pups.  It is a low chance but doggies with one testicle can father a litter.  Also, Bostons do have a very high chance of needing a C-Section.
In a few weeks, you can have a hormone test done, on her blood, to determine if she is pregnant.
