Dis-coloured quick under my bostons nails

Question
Hi Marie, I have a 2 yr old male boston terrier. Just over the last couple of month's I've noticed that the quick under his nails are turning a reddish brown color. He is also licking his front paws. He doesn't seem to be in any pain and he has been eating the same food for almost a year now. I can rule out the nail clipping as we have the specail clippers and my husband is very carefull with our 2 bostons. What could it possibly be?

Answer

My Boston Clients / N
Jackie - this is a common problem.  YOUR little Boston kid has too much acid in the saliva.  This can be due to diet or just chemistry of his/her system.
Here is something that can help :

Chlorophyll, Liquid (32 fl. oz.) ( For dogs and Cats)
- builds healthy blood, improves body and breath odor, tonic and gentle cleanser. Add a squirt or two to pet's water dish daily.
*** Cats Magazine mentions using this for strong odor for male show cats.
