Question
Last year my husband and i took in a 2 yr. old male boston terrier. He is the most loving and caring dog you could ask for.He often vomits after he eats or drinks water. This is due to the previous owners keeping him outside with larger dogs who would eat his food.He still thinks he has to eat in 2 seconds flat.I was wondering if you had any suggestions on how to get him to slow down.We have tried feeding him a small amount at a time to moisteing his food, but nothing seems to be helping my little angel. Also I have been trying to potty train him.He goes to the door when i'm at home, but while i'm gone to work he uses the bathroom in the kitchen floor.I do not want to pin him up while i'm at work so if you have any advice please let me know. The last thing i was curious about is he coughs all the time like he's choking, but the vet said he was perfectly fine other than the dry skin.He told me to but a tsp. of mazolla corn oil in his food.Which i might add has done a terrific job!Thank you for your time.

Digeston help :? NuVET
Natasha-  Hello -  Yes, I have a few ideas for you and your Boston Terrier.
1.  Please raise up his feeding and water - see if you can buy a raised feeding station.
It would need to be neck or Arm Pit level - this will help to reduce the air intake.

2.  Some folks place Golf Balls in the dog dish - the 3 golf balls and the food - the dog needs to take a little bit of time to eat AROUND the balls>>>>???  Ever tried it?
It works for many dogs!

3.  Last - to help with digestion and SKIN - coat / Please place this baby onto the NuVET supplement - wafer treat:
A 30 count is 20.00 and you can get 15% off on every bottle ...
Not sold in any stores.
Holistic - Natural - sold thru holistic VET offices and the manufacturer:

NuVET's Web site for your review:
Small bottles must be Called in -  ( the 30 counts)

As for the potty situation:  the only way around this is to crate your boy when you go to work.
I don't see any other way around this problem.
