When to switch to adult food for puppy?

Question
Hi;
My Boston (Bela) is almost 5 months old. I also have another adult shepard mix. I feed them the same type (Nutro Max for sensitive stomachs) dog food except my Boston gets puppy and my adult shep. gets adult food. I've noticed that Bela has been sneaking adult food from my sheps bowl. I'm wondering when do you start to give them adult food and if I should start to switch her over anyway, or perhaps mix a bit so her stomach is used to it. It hasn't seemed to affect her in anyway yet. Thanks for the help. (My adult dog was a puppy over 9 years ago and I forget the routine.)

Answer
Hello, I reccomend feeding dog seperately always...bostons are dog agressive some shepards can be as well and if they start stealing each others food fighting could insure. She should be on puppy for another three months at lest but you can for sure mix the kibbles. I kept my two small terriers(Jack Russell Terrier and Boston terrier) on puppy foods until they were 7/8 months old then swiched at which age small breeds are full grown outside anyways they just bulk out more...larger breeds should ea tpuppy food until they are 10 months or 1 year as they keep growing upward and outward for many more months.
