Question
My boston is 11 months old and he is very active. I noticed that the tissue to the bottom right of this left eye is swollen and protruding a little bit. It doesnt hurt him I can look at it and move his eyelids around. Do I need to worry.....Please Help

Answer
Hi Brandy - Sounds like it may be Environmental allergies?  Also, your dog may have scratched the inside corner of the eye.
Keep and EYE on the EYE -  if it gets very red and swells more, please call your vet.

MOST vets will allow you to give Benadryl 1-2 mg per pound of dog every 8 hrs.
Example - a 20 pound dog can take 20 to 40 mg of Benadryl for swelling ....

HOPE this helps...
