Boston puppies 10 days old with virus? ; puppy supplements ;

QUESTION: I am worried, I have five Boston puppies born 8-21. They all seem to be very healthy hungry happy. BUT I have noticed in the last two days that all five babies seem to have runny noses. Clear liquid around their noses. Not sneezing, or coughing, but when they breath outward they blow their "liquid" all over. Is this normal new puppy behavior? Or is their a health risk approaching???

Hi Wendy , How about taking just one pup into the vet.  Sounds like it may be a virus.
Hard for me to say over the internet.  To be sure, just have one checked out.

QUESTION: Follow/Up answer.    I took them all in with the mommy. Vet said he isnt worried, it is a virus type of infection which isn't uncommon for Bostons because they have flat faces. Mommy got antibiotics she had a slight infection due to her c-section and nursing with aggressive feeders. Puppies may even gotten it from her. She has antibiotics which in turn will go to her puppies. I have another follow up in a week. Humidifier for the puppies and they are doing much better already. THANK YOU! You were so VERY helpful.
