Question
First I have taken Buddy  my 3 year old male to the Vet 4 times in the last 2 weeks. I am wondering if any other Boston owners have had the same problem. It started two weeks ago with Buddy began wheezing all the time, mouth closed, each time maybe 40 seconds. This was followed by painful yelp when lifted. He is being lifted because he also stopped jumping down from things ,he could jump up not down. Next he began throwing up thick white mucus at night, all night long.Vet gave him a cortisone shot and pain shot. Thought he did something to his back. This seemed to help for 24 hours then we started over same symptoms. Next visit X-rays of his back and chest. These show no back problem and a little scare tissue in his lungs. He was started on Cephalexin and Vetprofen. Again 24 hours and worst.Back to vet for blood work another look at exray. He had a shot for vomiting and taken off pain meds. Started on Metoclopramide for vomiting. Slight improvement for a day now no vomiting but he doesn't want to eat or drink. We have been able to get down some scrable eggs and some chicken . He is weak ,won't play, still not jumping down from things. Have you ever heard of this before or any of your readers.

Answer

I am thinking there are a few things going on here....remember, I am not a vet, this is just my opinion-
