Boston on a leash

Question
I have a Boston puppy (male).  Great dog! When I put his leash on him, he looks at me like he has no clue, and just sits there.  He will not walk with a leash on. I pull, etc. and nothing.  He will walk with me without the leash though.  And I have read most of your answers today and realize that breathing can be a problem, but do they actually breath that fast.  When my pup sleeps, he breaths really fast.  I will say that I have only had one other dog before, so I really don't have much experience, but this dog breaths so much faster then the other one.  And, thank you.

Answer
Hello, Please see my training page on my website it details how to leash train a puppy/dog:

breathing Can be a big problem with these dog if his breathing seems rpid...he is gulping through his mouth or you see his Straining Hard to inhale...evidenbced by how contracted his sides become during the time he inhales then if you has any of theses syptoms I sugest he see a vet experianced with such dogs as boston terriers(or other flat muzzle breeds) as soon as possible. And Congrats on your new puppy.
