Boston Terrier Sick

Question
My two year old Boston has been to the vet three time this month and they say he is fine. He started hacking up white frothy liquid after drinking water. Then it turned into uncontrolled vomiting. It happens all the time any time. I can be sitting on a chair with him and vomit just comes out out of his mouth. It does not seem that he is straining to expel his stomach contents like a human would vomiting. It just spews out.

He has also been snorting and snoring a lot more lately. He does that weird backwards breathing I read about with Bostons very regularly now. Vet took x rays of his chest and stomach area, did some blood work and urine and fecal tests. Everything came back great. Vet gave us some Sucralf S to give him before meals to coat his stomach. Also she has had us change his diet from Purina lamb and rice dry to a bland prescription diet wet food. I would say he is maybe 10% better with the diet change.

I have noticed that he is losing some hair around his nose and on his shoulder. Skin looks flaky and dry where he is losing his hair.

Vet said he had worms so we gave him worm medicine, and we keep up on his advantage flea treatments and regular bathing. He does not have fleas.

Wow Alex!  The worms could have much to do with your boy's problems. Also, this type of dog can have stomach issues and the Bland Rx diet will help.  Your vet did a good job covering all the areas of concern.  Glad the x-rays did not show any odd anatomy.

I can suggest a few supplements to add to your VET's program.  We need to condition the skin and coat.  I believe the diet and the Sucralf s will do the trick for the belly.

Ok, I would love to start your boy onto some NuVET Plus

Let's give this boy 1 NuVET Plus wafer per day / this is an immune system booster/ will help to fight off Allergens that are hitting his system... NuVET is not sold in any stores: only thru Holistic vet and other pet professionals like me.

GREAT for skin, coat and many other body systems, too!
here is the NuVET link - 1 per day will cost you about .60 cents per day/

Also, once his belly is better and the worms are gone you may want to start some Salmon oil - just 1 teaspoon per day, mixed into his food.
Great for his skin and coat.
Pure salmon oil is found at most pet stores.
