Puppy weight

Question
We just purchased our first Boston puppy a week ago.  He is 9 weeks old.  At his vet visit today he weighed in at 7 pounds.  This seems heavy for a dog that is only supposed to be 25 pounds at maturity.  He is not fat.  He is a very cute healthy puppy with a good appetite and lots of energy.
Are there any size/weight charts for this breed that would give me an idead of his size at maturinty?

Answer
Hi Annette- I looked around the net for a free chart and couldn't find one.  I know they will grow rapidly with first 4-8 months of age.  I would assume that his poundage is fine for now.  Also, the vet will be watching him closely and will advise you.

I do suggest a good food and Nutritional Supplement for your little Boston boy.  Make sure you are feeding one of the following:
Quality and low fillers:  Innova, Wellness, Solid Gold, Natural Balance, Eagle Pack.... If you are not feeding one of them, you may want to consider them... They are the best you can buy for your boy.
I will help you if you want to change him over... We have to do it slowly so he won't get loose poops.
