Question
I have a 1 year old female Boston who has recently started shedding A LOT! She actually has several spots on her body where the hair is missing. She also scratches a lot. I took her to the vet and they did a skin scraping and told me that she had a bacterial skin infection. She is now on antibiotics for the infection, but I was curious to know if you have any suggestions on how to keep her from getting infected again. The vet said that it was from scratching. Once the skin is broken, bacteria gets inside and causes the infection. I have begun using an oatmeal shampoo and I give her Brewer's Yeast once per day to help with skin and coat. Is there anything else I can do or do I just have a naturally itchy doggy? :)

Answer
Hi Olivia and little Boston Terrier!  I would love to help you both.  Just a few changes can helps so much.  The Brewer's Yeast is ok but I have much better.
I would like to offer you a few herbs and an oil to use daily.
