hair loss in Boston dog ;

My Boston is 12 months old, she is red with white.  She is fed Blue Buffalo food (hypoallergenic) She is brushed weekly and bathed with an oatmeal shampoo (4-5 weeks).  She has started to bald around her ears and possibly the sides of her forehead.  She is scratching 1 ear so I do plan to take her in.  Is hair loss common with red Bostons?  Thanks for getting back to me

The Blue Buff is a good food.  You can keep on this food a little longer.
