Question
Hi. My boston is pregnant and due any day. Since this is my first litter I thought you could help me with a question I have. I'm wondering if I should change her diet at all once she has the puppies or do I keep feeding her the same amount of food as I always do?

Answer
Boston Terrier puppies;  any pups yet?;  how is MOM doing?  nesting.....

Hi Stephanie:  Yes, I would give her x-tra food each day.  She will need some x-tra calories while she is nursing the little Boston pups.
Also, you can give her 3 tablespoons per day, of 2% cottage cheese - mixed into her dog food.
Or, you can rotate the cottage cheese with 1/4 cup of Activia yogurt each day.

Also, most of our Boston Mommas take 1 NuVET wafer vitamin each day - good for the mom and good for the pups.  The pups will get the NuVet supplement thru the mom's milk.
