Question
We have a BT (girl) that is almost 1 year old.  She's a great and loving dog to us and the boys, but has a really consistent problem with vomiting.  It is a white foam with food.  This is happening almost every day after playing.  Any suggestions on food would be appreciated.  We alternate on dry and wet dog food.  Sometimes we give her table food like chicken and turkey (she loves turkey).  Please help us!  We have a new home and don't want to leave her outside all the time, but it's getting really bad!

Answer
Hello Its odd that an older dog has this problem  my boston was pukey when she was a puppy more so then any of my other dogs when they were younger. I would suspect a enlongated soft palate problem....The best thing you can do is he into the vets and have everything checked out on her(They Can't tell if the dog has a soft palate issue while she awake thou) Hannah my boston terrier has a *Slightly enlongated soft palate but not enough to need surgery and not so long she is vomiting all the time because if she was then she Would need the surgery. Classic signs of this problem are Vomiting Foam/froth/Bile on a daily basis or right after eatting. Please do check with a good vet and see what they have to say.
