QUESTION: she is on science diet for puppy dry food and prescription i/d because she had diarrhea she also has parasites in her intestines and upper respiratory infection we just purchased her on Aug. first this year

Answer
Hello again:  Ok, yes, I have some suggestions.. First off, keep in contact with your vet for immunizations and follow up on parasites.  YOU may need to bring in a stool sample to check for more worms or parasites.

Let's get this boy onto a better food.  The change over must be very slow.... as to not cause loose stools.
Keep your baby on the Prescription I/d but mix it with Innova Puppy or Wellness Puppy - YOU can find them in most pet stores.
Please do a 50/50 mix on the two foods for at least 5 weeks.  After, the 5 weeks please do 100% of the new food.

Each day please add some Kelloggs All Bran cereal to her food... Give her 1 teaspoon of this cereal 1 x per day. ( you can do this always.... gives the fiber she needs to avoid loose poops)  Also, good for her anal gland health.

Please buy some Acidophilus (1 Billion CFUs) - just give 1/2 per day - You can break this in 1/2 and hide in some cheese.  Excellent for her belly health..

Last - Please get some NuVET Plus - The ULTIMATE Puppy Immune system booster.  Helps to stop allergies or reduce allergies!  YOUR kid could have allergies... all the snorting and respiratory problems can mean a very low immune system.
Here is the link :  Please use breeder/ vet code 81098.

She will need just 1/2 wafer treat per day, only .25 cents per day.
