Urinating Crate

Question
If my Boston's urinary crystal problem is curred, how do I go about retraining him not to pee in his crate?  When I let him out and he pees outside, I praise and give him a treat.  How do I get him to understand it's bad to pee in the crate.  I finally scaled the crate down to fit him better.  Any suggestions or recomendations?

Answer
Well, he still could have some swelling from the infection and the crystals.
Is there any way to keep him in the bathroom or laundry room with a potty pad?
You can place his crate in the area with the door open.
Place some wee wee pads down in a laundry room with a baby gate.
Your boy may still need to do his potty every 3-4 hours because of the swelling.
It can take some time to get back to Normal.

HOPE you can give him his own potty area to use when you are at work.
