Question
I have a 6 month old female boston currently not fixed being feed Nutro Natural Choice puppy food that she eats twice a day very slowly

My Boston is alone all day in her room which is small and just for her.  She has started to chew her pee pads during the day then peeing where they would have been if not chewed.  Her toys include a kong, tennis ball bone, stuffed bear, small knotted rope, a rubber ball and a nylon bone.  I have just read that I can boil the nylon bone in beef broth so I am going to try that, but the peanut butter in the Kong only takes her minutes to get it all out.  What else can I do to keep her from chewing the pads? Also for clothing I want to get her boots for the winter, but I know from my brothers small dog that it is hard to find ones that fit properly can you help?  Is there anything else that would be good to know about my Boston, she is my everything and if she listened a little better and stopped chewing what she shouldn't be I would be even happier

Thanks

Answer
Hello, and 6 months she should be fully house trained...Crate her when your not home let her pee before hand and leave no food or water with her but a few toys and a blanket... if its hot leave a fan pointed partway on the crate...not fully on her since this can dry out the bostons large eyes. By crateing her in a small crate(she should be able to turn around with bumping the side) she wont pee in the crate and cant chew anything she shouldnt after she is fully housetrained and no longer needs pee pads you can leave her uncrated in her room this may take another month or two.
