Boston still bleeding...

Hi again,
I really appreciate your responses. My Boston is in her first heat cycle, that has turned out to be really irregular, but she has been bleeding for a least 2 1/2 weeks. Is there any reason for concern? Thanks Penny

Hi Suzy.  Sorry for the delay in getting back with you, I'll try not to let it happen again.

The complete heat cycle can last for up to 21 days, but the bleeding usually doesn't last that long - closer to 14 days.  I would give her another week.

After that, if she continues to bleed, I think you should give your vet a call.
