First heat?

Question
I have a papered 6month old female Boston Terrier that I think is coming into heat for the first time.  I plan to get her spayed but not until the fall when it cools down (even though she's an inside dog) and she is a little older.  She has been clingy the past three to four days and just sits and stares at me and whines.  I always wipe her down with a towel after she goes outside so I don't get mud in my house and have noticed only 2 drops of brownish liquid on her vulva on 2 separate days.  I am single with no kids and she is my spoiled little princess.  Is the whining because she has little doggy cramps?  And if so, can I give her anything to make her more comfortable this first time?  Thanks for your help.

Answer
Hello, Sounds like a begining of her heat cycle be very sure she doesnt run through yuor legs when you leave the house or be sure nothing can get into or out of the yard also be very sure to keep her leashed during walks and don't leave her outside unatended keep watching her it takes second for the dog to get out of the yard via a hoel under the fence or a loose board and then she can get pregnant with a larger dog and the puppies would be too big to be born and she might not even be able to carry them to term most bitches that are bred by very large male dogs either don't carry the pups to term..die or need a C-section to save the dogs life so I'm jsut saying be careful during her cycle they will try get away. I haven't heard of anything to give a dog during her cycle for pain I don't know if they even get cramps they probaly do...because well in humans the first cycle Hurts lol. But most females get clingy and whinny during a cycle.
