QuestionWe took our 11yr old boston to the vet a couple months ago because he was extremly skinny. You could see his ribs, he wasnt keeping any weight on him at all. They diagnosed him with hook worms and gave him a wormer. We cleaned all poop out of the back yard and wormed all the other dogs with a special wormer. After that he started gaining weight and looking pretty good, but in the last month he's started losing again. We can see his ribs and he looks awful. He gets a special food, gets feed alone, and eats all his food but is still so skinny. Is there anything we can do????
AnswerNuVet for weight gain and proper digestion ; Salmon oil for your Boston;
Hi Jessica, Sometimes they need a 2nd worming treatment. This one can be found at many pet stores: Worm X Plus -Kills 3 types of Worms - Orange Box - easy to eat.
Also, You may want to start this baby onto some soy cottage cheese - Just 2 tablespoons per day for 2 weeks.
Also, add this supplement to his daily diet - 1 NuVET Plus Wafer per day - Long Term:
Will help him to gain some weight and digest his food.
NuVET is not found in any stores:

Please also add some Pure Salmon oil to your Boston's food.
Just 1 teaspoon per day mixed into his food will help.
