Hi Darin,  Excessive licking is a compulsive disorder in some pets.  It helps them to get relief from anxiety.  You can try Composure Soft Chews by Vetri-Science Labs.  YOU can order them thru Dr. Fosters and Smiths' catalog or the Revival Animal Health Catalog.
