boston terrier pregnancy

My Girlfriend and I were thinking about breeding our terriers and was wondering if the puppies had to be delivered by c-section?

Hi Jeff,

Not all pups need to be delivered surgicaly. Alot depends on the sizes of the females and the males. If you have a toy Boston....under 10 pounds it is best to breed her with a same size male. A larger male and she may well need surgery. A larger female typically does not.
