Food Allergy?

Question
Hello,
I have a 6 year old male neutered cat that has just recently started to vomit once a day, but is still eating and drinking and otherwise himself. He seems to vomit most often in the middle of the night. The past few nights it has been at 3am. (I can hear him). He usually vomits digested food. I am wondering if it may be the food. He has been eating it for quite a few months now, and my two others seem fine, so is it possible it is a food sensitivity? I had them all on Waltham's Rice and Duck until Royal Canin bought them out and made the bags smaller and upped the price. It's just that he has been fine until now, but it seems almost like clockwork that he vomits...that seems strange to me. He immediately cries for more food after he vomits as well, which to me seems as though it is not illness-related. He wouldn't feel like eating if that were the case. Also, they are fed meals at 7am and 6pm only, not free choice.
Please advise. Thank you!

Answer
It could be a food sensitivity or that he is not digesting the food properly.  First thing I would do is add Digestive Enzymes to the food to see if that helps.  I prefer Dancing Paws Shake 'N' Zyme www.dancingpaws.com

The other thing I would try to do is give THREE smaller meals a day and consider feeding canned food for the last meal of the night.

I feed my cats PRAIRIE Lamb & Rice food and they really like it and it is all natural...consider checking that food out since you are not happy with what you are feeding now.  www.naturesvariety.com
