German Shepard has red sore on lip

Question

sore on charlies lip   The other day I noticed my dog had a red bump that looks kind of like a sore and I'm really worried, do you know what it might be?

Looking at a picture is just not enough to be able to hazard a guess. Even if I saw the mass in person I would be unlikely to know what it is.

One possibility is merely a pimple, though they are usually on the chin and look a bit more angry. Just to be sure, stop using any plastic food or water bowls, and even stop any plastic chew toys.
