my daughter lost her pappilion today, there was charcoal on her tongue and
i was thinking that this could be poisonious to her

We routinely give dogs activated charcoal to bind toxins; however, if you are talking about charcoal briquettes then I would say they are poisonous since they have other chemicals on them.
