Puppy eye infection

Question
Hello,
I have a puppy who is 9 weeks old.  She recently got out and ended up with a really bad eye infection, so we took her to the vet this morning.  After looking at her, the vet sent us home saying there was a lot of swelling, so they couldn't tell if there was a scratch or bite, etc.  We were given some antibiotics (Doxy 100) and an eye ointment (Neo-poly-bac hydro) and sent home.  Well, her eye seems to be getting worse instead of better.  I understand that it's only been a day, but it looks as though her whole eye is swelling right out of the socket!  She won't eat and all she does is sleep, due to the pain I'm sure.  Is there ANYTHING that I can do for her to make this a little more comfortable for her?  Should I be concerned that it's something more serious?  It breaks my heart to see her like this!

Thank you,
Kristy

Answer
Ok Kristy -  do you know if the vet checked her eye pressure?
If not, call a vet emergency now... This is very serious if the eye continues to swell.
The pressure would have been checked with something that looks like a PEN and it would have been placed on the eye ball. They would have done a pressure reading.

Don't delay, she will go blind if the eye continues to swell.  They can give her a shot to reverse the swelling.

Let me know what happens.
