Question
Hi, I have a 5 year old MinPin, in the last few days she has developed a lump on the side of her face.  Reminds me of when my son's lymphoid were swollen.  She is not acting any different than normal, and is still eating and drinking fine????  I've heard that snake & spider bites can cause swelling, but cannot see any puncture marks

Answer
Leslie:  You can give her a children's dosage of Benadryl to see if this is an allergic reaction.  If it is the Benadryl will make the swelling go away.

Follow the directions on the back of the box for pounds and mg per pound...
If it doesn't help, please call your vet.

Good luck!
