trembling paws

Question
My 1 and 1/2 year old dog fell off the couch earlier this evening (she's normally pretty clumsy) and we're not sure but she may have hit her head lightly when she fell.  We didn't hear any bang or anything, but my boyfriend said he thought he saw her bump her head. Since then she's been acting normal, but she was laying on the couch and rolled over with her paws sticking up. When she did this we noticed that her paw was trembling/shaking.  We have been watching her closely since and it seemed like her head was shaking just a very tiny bit, hardly noticeable. It doesn't seem like an emergency because she seems totally fine otherwise. She is holding her head straight (not tilted), and there's no shaking unless her paw or something is elevated, but I'm wondering if we should be concerned, or just keep an eye on her and see how she does in the morning?

Answer
This is no different than if you were lying on a muscle for a while then rolled over and released it. It would tremble also.

If she doesn't have a head tilt and seems fine, then she probably is. If there was some muscle strain from falling she might have injured a shoulder or leg but she would be limping.

I would follow your advice and watch her in the morning. If she seems fine and her eyes don't jerk back and forth and she is walking straight and happy and wants to eat, then she is probably fine.
