My cats

Question
I have 4 male cats.  They have for the past 9 months while my husband has been in various hospitals after an accident slept with me and have become my very best friends.  About 2 to 3 weeks ago they all changed, completely changed personalities.  They don't go into the livingroom any more where we all were sleeping.  One stays in the diningroom, 2 in the kitchen and one in the upstairs hallway.  The one in the hallway sometimes cries and cries.  At first I thought it was fleas and picked up something at PetSmart thinking that since they're supposed to care about animals that they really wouldn't just carry something that doesn't work.  It didn't work, they still didn't act right and they still were scratching like crazy.  Yesterday I read that it could be the fleas, so, I called y vet and stopped to pick up 4 packages of Advantage which I immediately put on my guys.  There seems to be less scratching but they still aren't normal for them.  They stayed in their respective rooms, one of them both last night and the night before took a dump in the diningroom (this wasn't the one that was staying there)  Yesterday sometime while I was working at least on of them peed all over the kitchen counter.  They have always used their litter boxes.  I have the 4 cats but I keep 5 litter boxes for them.  Tuesday I had asked that if while my brotherinlaw doing a couple things if while I was at work he would change their little boxes even if they didn't look the it was needed.  He did so.  3 out of 5 have not been touched the other two have.  While I was cleaning the counter last night one of my babies got up there and peed again.  What can I do to make them a little bit more normal, even normal for them because they are really some streange kids but I do adore them.  Would an issue such as any of the fleas make them so completely change their way of life?  Do you think when the new drops will help and help soon?

Answer
Oh Boy!  Very odd!  Have they had there shots from the vet?  There are many diseases that one cat can pass on to the other.  Some of them effect the neurological system.  Also, even worms can do this to a cat's behavior.

How about trying some supplements along with the Advantages.  The advantage needs to work into your cats blood system... It doesn't happen over night.  ( sorry)

Ok, try some Salmon oil ( pure) in all the cats food... Give 1/2 teaspoon per cat.... Do this daily

Buy some NuVET Plus - Feline Formula and mix this into the food 1 x per day....it is a special powder for cats.  This is a skin and coat supplement that helps to heal allergies and skin problems.

Also, this is an immune system booster made to help cats stay healthy and fight off any allergens..
Call Joan today - Order some NuVET Feline - It will cost you about 39.90 for one month of NuVET for all for cats... Tell Joan I said for you to order the 60 count ... you will be giving 1/2 a dosage to all 4 cats .
1-800-474-7044 ext 265  ( Give her order code 81098/ this is a BREEDER and VET code/ they can't sell to the public without this...)

Let me know how they are doing after you start them on the oil and the NuVET Feline-

Take care,
