Our Cat

Question
Good Day,

The last time we saw our vet, we were told that our cat may be developing arthritis in her left paw as some days she favours it.  She is 14 years old and you can imagine that it breaks our heart to think that she's in pain.

Do you know of a "natural" way to help her.

Thank you.

Answer
Hi Celia!  Although there are many medications that can be prescribed by a veterinarian to relieve arthritic pain, I definitely respect your choice of trying a natural way to treat this problem.
Try some Flax Seed Oil, which can be purchased at any local health food store.  A teaspoon of flaxseed oil per day over your cat's food will cause her organs and joints to become nice and lubricated and will also promote healthy cartlidge growth.  I have used this method many times for my animals and within two weeks have noticed great improvements.  You may also want to try Boveine Cartlidge and Shark Fat Pills, which also promote healthy joints and the regeneration of cartlidge.  1/4 of these pills would be the recommended dosage, and they can be ground (grinding between two spoons works wonderfully) and put over her food.  I hope you find these methods as helpful and beneficial as I have!
Please keep me posted and best of luck!
Hilary
