Our Border Collie

Our dog is 14 years old.  She is pacing and pacing around the house from the bedroom to dining room and back again over and over.  She does have diharia but hasn't gone since this afternoon.  She also has a serious heart murmur that she has had for years.  I know pacing is a sign of nervousness.  I also know she is getting older and she has the murmur.  Any suggestions on what this might be or what we can do?

Hi Robin - give her some canned pumpkin - about 1/4 of a cup - just to see if she needs to poop...If so, the pumpkin with kick in within an hour or so.

Also, make sure her gums are pink and the tongue is pink in color.  You don't want to see gray or any blue  to the color of her gums.

Make sure her ears looks ok... Her breed can get many ear infections...Make sure there is not brown junk in the ear canal.
