Canine Herpes

I was wondering if the human herpes virus can be transmitted to canines?

Hi Kimberly!  
Human herpes can not be transmitted to canines.  There is such a thing as Canine Herpes and Feline Herpes, but they are species oriented and are very different from human herpes.  The canine vaccine, DHLPPC, which is the yearly booster protects dogs against the Canine Herpes (that's what the H stands for hehe).
