My dog has an eye infection

my dog has an eye infection but i dont know what kind how can i know what kind of eye infection does he has?.....his eyes are swollen and is red around its hard for him to open his eyes and he keep rubing it with his paw.

Doesn't really matter what kind he has- he needs medical attention right away. You need to call the vet tomorrow and get him in. If you wait he can lose his sight and sometimes their eyes.

You can try and wash them out with mild eye wash for humans and that will give him some relief before tomorrow but you must call the vet.

Do not wait.
