Not sure if you can help..but here goes,two days ago i noticed that my cat gracie was holding her right eye shut so when i got ahold of her to check it out there was a scratch above her eye.. so im thinking while playing w/ one of there other 3 cats i have she mustive gotten hurt.. anyway..yesterday it started watering really bad and its looking rather matted ..i have been wipeing it off w/ a warm,damp cloth. but not sure thats helping at all.. I guess my question is is there anything i can do at home to help her ,, or should i go ahead and get her into a local vet...??? ok. well hope to hear back from you. thank you ... Hi there!
I would definitely suggest a vet visit.  It sounds as though this scratch is infected and an antibiotic will need to be prescribed.  You've been doing the right thing by wiping it with a warm, damp cloth.  After the antibiotic or antibiotic ointment is prescribed, you will notice improvement within a few days.
