Soft pink blister looking on dogs side

Question

Blister on Golden Retr   I noticed a small round pink blister (very jelly to touch) and is surrounded with dark pink circle on my golden retriever's side.  He is 8 years old.

Answer
There are two common skin conditions that look like this.  One is called an epidermal inclusion cyst which can be soft.  The other is a histiocytoma, which is a tumor mass and it is usually hard.  You should have your vet look at this lesion to see if it needs to come off.
