Answer
.Can dogs and cats eat chicken? What do you do is they eat it?  YES they can.  Preferably cooked, but some people do feed raw (BARF diet).

.What do you do when a cat or dog eats a bone, like a chicken, turkey bone etc..?  Cooked bones will splinter and can cause intestinal tearing, obstructions and perforations.  If the animal has eaten a bone, we take x-rays and proceed from there depending on what they x-rays look like--either conservative treatment with a high fiber diet or surgery.  Some people do feed RAW bones and these seem not to cause a problem.

.Waht food do you recommend feeding cats and kitten? How much food do you give him at each age?  I prefer the more natural diets that are made without meat-by-products such as Nutro Natural Complete, Eagle Pack, Innova, Natural Balance...the amount to feed depends on size and activity....usually the bag will give a good recommendation on the amount.

.What food do recommend feeding dogs and puppies? How much food do you give her at each age?  Same brands as above.

.What are the the cycles that cats go through? Also,at what age do they happen?  I do not know what you are referring to here.   At one year of age, they are considered adults.  After 7 years, they are considered seniors.

.What are cats rarely infected with? How do you treat them?   There are a lot of diseases that animals can become infected with and the list is too comprehensive to list...you will learn all that in vet school!

.What are dogs rarely infected with? How do you treat them?   same as above.

.Do cats really have 9 lives?  NO.

9. How do all of the systems work in a dog and in a cat?  Similar to a human.  You should do a internet search or look in an encyclopedia as this is too involved to answer here.

.How do you give dogs and cats stitches>Please tell me everything you know about stitches!  It depends on the situation.  If they have a laceration, I will numb the skin with lidocaine and then place the stitches or use surgical skin staples.

.What happens to a cat when he eats a mouse? Nothing unless the mouse was poisoned.

.How do you treat a dog and a cat with pneumonia?  A lot of antibiotics.

.What do you do for a dog or cat who has asthma?  Usually give them steroids and bronchodilators.

.What do you do for a dog that extra fast-regular than normal?  ?  Nothing.

.How do you breed dogs and cats?  Let that up to the breeders.   You can look on the internet and I am sure you will find some info here.

.What do you do if a dog or a cat swallows its own teeth?   Nothing.

.How do you treat a dog or a cat with Heartworms?  There is no treatment for cats.  Dogs are given 2 injections of Immiticide.   Prevention is much better!

.How do you treat a dog or a cat with Roundworms?   Piperazine or use a combination dewormer called Drontal or Panacur.

.How do you treat a dog or a cat with Ringworms?   Medicated baths or dips plus an antifungal called Griseofulvin or Ketoconazole.

.How do you treat a dog or cat with Worms?  Drontal or Panacur.

.How do you treat a dog or cat with ticks and fleas?  Use Frontline, Advantage (fleas only), Advantix (for dogs only) or Preventic Collar (ticks only).

.Is it OK to gel dogs and cats hair,or will a certain chemical bother them?  No.  Only pet products should be used on their skin.

.What foods are bad for cats?  Onions, chocolate, pork

.What foods are bad for dogs? Onions, chocolate, pork, too much people food

.What do you do for a cat or a dog who vomits out blood?  Treat for stomach ulcers and try to find out why.

.What foods are undigestable for dogs and cats?  Peanuts, corn...things with a lot of fiber.

.What chemicals mostly affect dogs and cats? What do they have in them to hurt cats and dogs? Antifreeze will kill both dogs and cats as they go into kidney failure.  Tylenol will kill a cat.  There are more, but too comprehensive to list here...I suggest that you do an internet search or look up on Animal Poison Control's website from the ASPCA.

.How much percentage of the stuff do you put in a injection before putting s dog or cat to sleep?  It depends on the solution used.  We use sleepaway and give about 1 ml per 10 pounds.

.How much percentage and weight of milk can you feed a cat or dog a day?   NONE!

.Can cats and dogs drink pop?  NO!

.How much teeth do dogs have in their mouth? 28 as a puppy and 42 as an adult

.How much teeth do cats have in their mouth?  26 baby teeth and 30 adult teeth

.How do dogs and cats loose teeth?  Just like kids do.

.What do you have to administer an animal to put it to sleep while doing surgery something? What do you give him to wake up after surgery is done? How much injections do you give him each time? How much of the medicine do you put in the injection each time?   There are many combinations.  I mostly use domitor, ketamine and torbugesic for cats and for dogs a combination of ketamine, valium and torbugesic.  Then they are maintained on gas anesthesia.  They wake up when the anesthesia gets metabolized and we can reverse the domitor with antesedan.  The dose depends on the animal's weight.

.How do you give cats and dogs x-rays?  Lay them on the table and hold their arms and legs and then snap the picture.

.How do you give dogs and cats exams?  Just like a person gets a physical...look at eyes, ears, nose, feel their entire body and listen to their heart.

.How do you give dogs and cats tests?  Not sure what tests you mean.  We do x-rays, EKGs and blood work as the major testing.

.How do you give dogs and cats blood tests?  Take blood from their leg or neck and send it to the lab.

.What do you do for a dog with a broken leg? Please tell me everything about this including about which cast and stuff!   I send them to the specialist if the leg needs pin and wires, otherwise I will put a splint on with guaze and padding and vetwrap.  We tend not to use fiberglass casts as they are hard to get off.

.What do you do for a dog or cat with diabetes? How much medicine do you give him?How much injections do you give him?At what times do give him the injections?   Usually they get a special food and insulin injections once or twice a day after eating.  The dose and type of insulin depends on the animal.

.What do you do for a cat or dog that in blind?  Nothing really.  Just don't move the furniture around in the house.

.What do yo do for a dog or cat who is deaf and can't hear?  Nothing.  You can train them using hand signals.

.What do you do for a dog or cat eats glass?  Watch for intestinal bleeding.  Feed them a high fiber diet and pray.

.Do dogs or cats wear glasses?  NO.

.WHat do you do when a dog or a cat eats a pillow?   Watch for any vomiting and intestinal blockages.

.WHy do dogs and cats suddenly eat grass? How do you make them stop? Usually when they have an upset stomach.  Some animals just like to do it.  The only way to make them stop is to muzzle them, spray something bitter on the yard or just deny them access.

.What do you do when a dog or cat steps on glass?  Remove the glass from their feet and treat if there is an infection.

.What other animals get affected by the diease Salmonella?   Any animal.

.Waht do you do when a dog eats their own feces or another dogs feces?Or when a cat eats its own feces or another cats feces?   Check for intestinal parasites.   Use a product called FORBID to make the stool bitter.  Clean up the waste before they can eat it.  Cats do not usually eat their feces.

You can read about many diseases and their treatment in the encyclopedia at my website.

Also, the AVMA is our national vet association  www.avma.org  and you can find a lot of resources there too.

GOOD LUCK!
