Cat disoriented and lethargic

Question
Sasha is a 10 year old indoor cat who has always been healthy. Last night I noticed that she was acting strangly. As she walks she looks disoriented and flops over onto her side (mainly left, it seems) and is very lathargic. Her head seems to be tilting and she seems unbalanced. She has not eaten or drunk any thing in 24 hours. She is not crying and does not appear to be in pain but resembles an animal following anasetic. She is twitching a little but not continuously. No bowel movement or trip to litter tray seems to have taken place either. Thank you for any thoughts.

Answer
Sarah -

The symptoms you describe sound as if your cat should be examined as soon as possible.   She must be very uncomfortable and very disoriented.  Often symptoms like these resolve with the proper treatment -
