Vomiting after eating an old bird egg

Hello, I think my 7 pound chuhuahua ate an old bird egg and has vomited already 6 or 7 times. How harmful is that and should I take her to the vet or just keep her hydrated and keep an eye on her. Thanks for the response as my vet is closed on Fridays.

Best bet is to take your chihuahua to an emergency vet for some medication to help stop the vomiting.  A course of antibiotics is also probably a good idea as the egg was probably spoiled.  If she is vomiting that much it will hard to keep her hydrated by mouth and she will probably need an IV.
